This highlights the fact that the rate of water consumption exceeds the natural renewal rate of water sources, making clean water a valuable and expensive resource.

To address this issue, Delving Blue is working towards reducing the energy consumption of water treatment and filtration processes by utilizing natural renewable sources such as the sun, wind, and waves. Currently, our research and development team is focused on an off-grid PVRO plant that does not require batteries or power storage units, making it suitable for remote areas that are far from the grid. Our first pilot plant has been setup in Lahore, Pakistan, which has successfully reduced the electrical consumption of the RO process by over 70%.
