RPI-4900 is specially designed to inhibit scale formation in RO systems (equipped with polyamide, celluloseacetate and polyether membranes with an anionically charged surface). RPI-4900 shows a strong threshold effect and therefore prevents scaling of calcium carbonate, calcium sulphate and calcium fluoride in membrane systems. RPI-4900 aöso prevents deposits of iron salts due to its specific sequestrant property.
